American Kuhne, is a leading worldwide supplier of standard and customized single screw extruders, feed screws, and extrusion systems which are designed, developed, tested and manufactured in our headquarters in Ashaway, RI.

This position involves working in a team environment with sales, marketing and operations to provide high quality extrusion equipment and services to our customers worldwide.  The primary role of the inside sales position is to coordinate all phases of the sales cycle including lead qualification, communications with customers to review their requirements, generation of proposals, follow up on proposals, and the completion of paperwork in support of products sold. 

Required skills for this position include 2+ years’ experience in sales, working with customers.  Proficient verbal and written communications, experience using MS Word, Excel and Outlook, strong organizational skills and demonstrated skill in developing relationships with customers are also requirements for this position.

Process Engineer

This position involves working in a team environment to provide high quality extrusion systems and services to our customers worldwide.  The primary role of the Process Engineer is to make sure that all extrusion systems are assembled and working correctly per customer specifications, which includes testing and running the line to resolve any issues and get it perfect for customers to come and test. 

Required skills for this position include BS in Engineering or equivalent experience in process testing and design.  Proficient verbal and written communications, experience using MS Word, Excel and Outlook, strong organizational skills and experience working with customers are also requirements for this position.

Tester-Assembler

American Kuhne, is a leading worldwide supplier of standard and customized single screw extruders, feed screws, and extrusion systems which are designed, developed, tested and manufactured in our headquarters in Ashaway, RI.

This position involves working in a team environment to provide high quality extrusion equipment and services to our customers worldwide.  The primary role of the electrical tester/assembler position is to test controls and drives to make sure machinery is completely checked out and ready to run before shipping to customers, and also to assemble machinery using engineering drawings when necessary. 

 

Required skills for this position include experience testing/trouble shooting electrical control panels, working around live voltages, using test equipment (mulimeters, tachometers, etc…), programming and operating motor drive controls, temperature controllers, pressure controllers, etc…, and experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and bills of materials.  The ideal candidate will have this experience specifically working with extruders.  T
